CIS Follows Record Year with US Expansion, Appoints VP of Operations

Conductor Installation Services (CIS), an Acteon company, has its sights set on the US market following record growth in 2008.

Having worked successfully in all of the world's major production centers, the company has identified the US market as being the next key area for growth. It has recruited Brad Pellegrin to head the US operation. Brad joins the business as Vice President, operations, CIS Inc, and has
over 20 years' experience in the US market.

CIS installs well conductors and pile foundations for the international oil and gas industry using a range of hydraulic hammers. The company has been trading since 2005 and forms a key part of Acteon's wider conductors, foundations and moorings offering. The last four years have seen CIS grow its turnover to $8.7 million in 2008 -- a record 58% increase year on year.

Andy Penman, group managing director, CIS, said, "CIS was founded on the principle of providing the best installation technology with exceptional levels of client service. Naturally, we are delighted that this mix has seen us not only grow the business in a challenging environment, but also deliver outstanding results on numerous projects around the world.

"We consider this strategic move a key part of being able to deliver the same results in the US market. It is important to note that this expansion is not just about adding capacity, as we already work in the US, but also about being sure we can deliver our service to the highest standards locally. We are sure that Brad's talent and expertise in the industry will help us achieve this."
