DeepFlex, Inc. the world's only manufacturer of flexible, unbonded, non-metallic composite pipe for use in deepwater and ultra deepwater oil and gas production, has appointed Michael Molek to the DeepFlex Sales & Marketing team.
As Global Director, Molek will be responsible for all aspects of project management including leadership for major projects, development and leadership of the project management organization. Mr. Molek will provide the essential creation and support of organizational design necessary to grow DeepFlex in its expansion into the ulta deep subsea marketplace and as an integral team member in all Marketing and Sales, his scope of work will include initial client contact, proposal development, project management and close-out.
Prior to joining DeepFlex, Molek brings over eight years of experience from FMC where he served with increasing responsibilities in such capacities as Project Manager Shell Subsea Alliance, Supplier Development Engineering Manager, and Norway interface Controls Manager. Before joining FMC in 2003, he was project manager for Konecranes America.
Mr. Molek has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron, and a Master's Degree in Project Management from George Washington University.
