Iran Inaugurates Phase 1 of Semnan Gas Pipeline Project

President Mahmud Ahmadinezhad on Wednesday, May 20, inaugurated phase 1 of the biggest north-northeast gas pipeline in Semnan, Semnan province.  The project is located in CGS station in Semnan.

The first phase of the project transfers 60 million cubic meters of gas per day from north and northeast of the country through a 525-kilometer pipeline.

The project begins from Parchin, east Tehran and extends through Garmsar, Semnan, Shahrud and Miameh.

It provides jobs for 2,500 people directly or indirectly.
