Petrofac Confirms Death at Beryl Alpha Facility

Petrofac regrets to confirm that a subsea search around the Beryl Alpha platform has located a body, believed to be that of one of its employees, Martin Lindsay, who was reported missing on the installation on Tuesday, April 28, 2009.

Mr. Lindsay, who was a production operator and had been with Petrofac for four years, was one of 90 Petrofac personnel on the Beryl Alpha facility where the Company provides maintenance and operations personnel to its customer Mobil North Sea.

Our thoughts are with Mr. Lindsay's family, friends and colleagues to whom we will continue to provide support and assistance during this difficult time.

We would also wish to extend our gratitude for the support and assistance of the authorities and teams involved in the search operation.
