Britannia Field Scheduled to Restart This Week

The Britannia Field in the U.K. North Sea, which has been closed for planned maintenance since July 2, is expected to restart Friday as planned. The field is expected to begin exporting gas by Saturday on schedule. Britannia produces an average of 700 million standard cubic feet of gas and 35,000 barrels of condensate a day.

The field is jointly operated jointly by ChevronTexaco Corp. and ConocoPhillips.
