Recently formed Aberdeen headquartered oil and gas engineering provider, ClerkMaxwell, has announced a key appointment to its board with the appointment of Guy Cook as subsea and pipelines director.
With over 30 years experience in the oil and gas engineering industry, Guy brings extensive knowledge of design, development, subsea engineering, and delivery of £multi-million projects both in the UK and overseas to the ClerkMaxwell team.
Announcing the appointment, ClerkMaxwell’s managing director, John Wilson, said, "I am very pleased to be able to welcome Guy to play an integral role in the development of ClerkMaxwell. He joins our hand-picked team of industry specialists that are focused on bringing operations, construction and detailed design knowledge into the front-end of projects. Our unique project delivery model brings value to clients by bridging the gap between consultants, operators and detailed design and installation contractors. The excellence of our people is absolutely key to our success and is a differentiator for the business, especially in the current climate where delivering value is a pre-requisite."
Guy Cook joins four existing executive directors of ClerkMaxwell board; chief executive officer, Alistair Dornan, a former top executive of Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants and Xodus; managing director, John Wilson, formerly engineering director at AMEC; director, Sean Close, previously engineering solutions manager at Wood Group and technical director, Satnam Shoker, who was process and front-end studies manager at Wood Group.
