Petrobras Boosted 2008 Investments by 18% with Focus on E&P
Petrobras' investments during 2008 reached the record amount of R$53.4 billion (around US $23.3 billion), 18% more than in 2007.
The company continued making most of its investments in Exploration & Production. A total of R$26.196 billion were invested in these activities, 26% more than the previous year, prioritizing the development of Petrobras' oil and natural gas production in Brazil.
