Flint Bags 6-Year Construction Contract with Major Alberta Producer
Flint's Production Services division has been awarded a six-year mechanical construction contract with a major producer in Northeast Alberta. While the contract has a six-year term, it also includes the option to renew for another four years. The contract will be worth between
$300 and $500 million (Canadian dollars) over the life of the agreement.
The contracted work is located in the Cold Lake region of Northeast Alberta and will involve the construction of CSS (cyclic steam stimulation) well pads, installation of well head equipment, and construction of both aboveground and underground pipelines. The work, which is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2009, will be performed by Flint's Production Services division from their operation centres in Cold Lake and Bonnyville, Alberta.
