Energas Commences Texas Oil, Gas Development Project

Energas began work this morning on the first well of a development project in Callahan County, Texas. This oil and gas project consists of 1,560 acres under lease with an option to lease an additional 1,500 acres.

The project engineer estimates that there are 27 locations to drill for the Ellenberger formation, which is the primary target zone. The engineer has also identified locations for the Canyon Lime, Palo Pinto, Caddo and Mississippi formations. The first well will be drilled to 4,300 feet to test the Ellenberger formation.
