Multiwave Geophysical Adds to Fleet
Multiwave Geophysical has brought into operation a new vessel to undertake offshore exploration work for the Norwegian company EMGS AS.
The new vessel, which has been renamed the Geo Angler was most recently known as the Geco Angler and operated as an OBC vessel. "The vessel is an excellent platform for seabed acquisition," explained Jan Sovik, VP Marketing and Sales for Multiwave Geophysical. "It's new design and layout make her ideal for Seabed Logging acquisition technique, we feel confident that EMGS will be very pleased with her performance."
Rigging of the Geo Angler is part of Multiwave's strategy to bring the best equipment and the best people together in order to offer the offshore E&P industry new and innovative geophysical tools. "It is with vessels like the Geo Angler that allows our clients to use systems and technologies that bring new standards to the industry in terms of accuracy, data quality and depth capability." said Karstein Roed, President of Multiwave Geophysical.
