SMX International, the recently re-launched pipe connector and flow control products company (formerly Securamax) has appointed Gary Walford and Marc Robinson to head up its sales activities in Europe, and the Middle East and Asia Pacific, respectively.
Both Gary and Marc join SMX from Vector International. They bring extensive experience and an in-depth knowledge of the pressure connection and sealing market, and have a strong background in sales within this sector in the European and Middle East markets. Both see significant potential for SMX's products and engineering capability in the international marketplace.
"I am very excited by the benefits and value that SMX's products offer customers in the oil and gas industry, both upstream and downstream as well as petrochemical, chemical and other process industries, coupled with the ability to engineer solutions to meet their needs," Gary Walford, SMX International regional manager Europe says. "We are already seeing enormous interest in our products, both the more established SMX Clamp Connector and new introductions such as the Non-Slam Nozzle Check Valve, which is attracting significant attention for its exceptional performance."
Marc Robinson, SMX International regional manager Middle East and Asia Pacific agreed, adding, "This is a very exciting time to have joined SMX. The company is in dynamic growth mode, with the setting up of a global office network and structure, and an expanding range of high performance products. Until now the company has been active primarily in Canada, where it's headquartered, and the North American continent, but with the establishment of a European office in the UK, and a Middle East office in Abu Dhabi, the benefits of the products and service are now readily available to customers in these regions and beyond."
