Beach Plugs-Back Burtocal Well in Egypt, Preps for Second ST Well

Beach Petroleum has issued its weekly drilling report for the week ending November 26.

Highlights of the week's activities include:

Beach Petroleum Operated Cooper / Eromanga Exploration

Canunda-1, (PEL 106FI, Beach 50.00%), has reached total depth at 2799m; currently conducting wireline log program.

Cooper/Eromanga Oil Exploration and Development - Santos Operated

In areas operated by Santos, one well was successful (Watson-4, Beach 38.50%), one well was unsuccessful (Gidgealpa-59, Beach 20.21%) and one well is in progress (Watkins-1, Beach 38.50%).

Beach Operated Bass Basin - Offshore Tasmania: PeeJay-1 (T/39P)

PeeJay-1, targeting oil in the Upper Eastern View Group, is drilling ahead at a depth of 1915m in the Middle Eastern View Group (Beach earning 50.00%).

North Shadwan - Egypt: Burtocal oil field appraisal well
 
Results of the Burtocal NS394-2A appraisal well (Beach 20.0%), the first of two programmed sidetracks, are being evaluated. The well is being plugged- back in preparation for the second sidetrack, - NS394-2B.
