DEA Cites Lower Production in 2011, 2012 Due to Hejre Postponement

The Danish Energy Agency has updated the five-year forecast for production of oil and natural gas, investments and costs for exploration, operation and transportation of oil and gas.

Compared to the annual report from June the estimates for oil and gas production for the period 2008 until 2010 are unchanged.

In 2011 and 2012 production has been written down because of revised expectations concerning developments. For those two years the production is expected to be less than previously anticipated, in particular because the start of production from Hejre has been postponed.
