Samsung Finalizes Construction Contracts for 2 Drillships

Samsung Heavy Industries reported that the company has been awarded a contract to build two drillships valued at US $1.399 billion (KRW 2.093 trillion).

Only named by Samsung as a "ship owner in Europe," the client is believed to be Delba.  If this is the case, the vessels that are going to be built are the Delba VII and Delba VIII drillships, which were awarded contracts from Petrobras earlier this year.
