Titan Oil and Gas has appointed Justin Boose as the Company's Chief Operating Officer and Director to begin at once carrying out the operations of the Company.
Justin R. Boose brings to his new position at Titan Oil and Gas Inc. as COO/Director ten years' experience working for law firms Stoel Rives LLP in Portland, OR and King & Spalding LLP in New York and Houston. Boose has represented a diverse array of energy market participants including oil, gas and power companies with clients ranging from global energy concerns to start-up companies. Much of this work has been in a hybrid role as legal and commercial advisor, particularly in the area of renewable energy project development and management.
In the biofuels industry, Boose has represented developers and lenders with respect to financing, credit support and project development agreements for biofuels facilities. Boose has given numerous speeches and presentations concerning key legal and commercial issues facing such projects. Additionally, he is a principal of a biofuels company that is involved in cutting-edge technologies for the conversion of industrial waste grease to biodiesel.
In the wind energy industry, Boose was involved in developing several wind energy projects in the Pacific Northwest. Most recently, Boose has been representing clients with respect to projects in New York and Texas. While most of his work has been for project owners and developers, he has also represented lenders, equity investors and purchasers. His experience covers the entire project development spectrum, from site acquisition, transmission and off-take agreements, disposition of renewable energy credits (green tags), turbine purchase, warranty and EPC contracts, financing and equity participation, operations and maintenance and eventual sale or disposition.
More broadly, Boose has represented clients throughout the energy sector including major oil companies, upstream and midstream natural gas companies, LNG project developers, gas storage providers, regulated gas and electric utilities, QFs, merchant power developers, and energy commodity market participants.
