Mesa Resources finds Gas with First Tofield Well

Mesa Resources revealed that the first well of a multiple well drilling program in the Tofield area, southeast of Edmonton in Canada has been cased as a natural gas discovery.
Production casing has been set and the well will be completed and tested immediately. The drilling rig will now be moved to a second location and that well is anticipated to commence drilling upon arrival of the rig.
The multi-well program is a farm-in with Pivotal Energy Ltd. Mesa's working interest in the wells is 33.3%. Mesa is contributing 66.6% of the drilling and completion costs under the terms of the farm-in agreement. Pivotal is the operator of the progra
