Swift Energy Says Lake Washington Production Steady
Swift Energy Company said that May production from its Lake Washington Field in Louisiana averaged more than 7,000 gross barrels oil equivalent per day (5,700 net barrels oil equivalent per day). Oil barging operations are functioning normally and have become the primary oil sales outlet. Barging operations will remain the primary sales outlet until expected oil pipeline and facility upgrades become operational later this year.
Since the beginning of May the Company has successfully drilled two additional wells and set production casing on both of them. One is an operated well in the Lake Washington Field, and the second is a non-operated well in the Garcia Ranch area. Both wells are awaiting completion operations.
