Pemex Evacuates Gulf Facilities, Shuts-In Production

This afternoon, Pemex enacted its hurricane emergency response program in the northern region of the Company's exploration and production scope, including Veracruz and Nautla, due to Tropical Storm Marco.

The Company evacuated a total of 33 personnel from offshore platforms in the path of the storm, including nine from the Lankahuasa platform, two from the Bagre B platform, 14 from the Carpa B platform and eight from the Bagre C platform.

At the time of the release, the Company had shut-in six wells from the Lankahuasa platform and ceased gas production from El Raudal. Pemex is preparing its operations for intense rains.
