Noble Denton Names New Group Managing Director Designate

The Board of Noble Denton has announced the appointment of John Wishart as Group Managing Director Designate, Noble Denton.

John Wishart, previously President, North America, Technip will succeed David Sutton on January 1, 2009. Wishart, himself a chartered engineer, has enjoyed success in a diverse range of executive, project, technical, operational and commercial management roles in both the contracting and operating sectors. He brings extensive international experience and will be returning to London to take up his new leadership role.

Teck Soon Kong, Chairman, Noble Denton said, "John's appointment follows a rigorous selection process by the Nominations Committee to find a strong, charismatic leader who will not only deliver our aggressive growth targets but also direct the company through the IPO process.

"The Board is confident that John will build on David Sutton's considerable achievements which have positioned Noble Denton as a leader in the field of marine operations and offshore engineering."

Sutton will continue his long association with Noble Denton assuming the role of Director of Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions after a three-month handover period.

Commenting on the appointments David Sutton said, "John has an impressive track record in the industry and I am very pleased that he is to be our next Group Managing Director. I look forward to working with him during our handover and wish him every success."
