Rheochem plc announced that its 100% owned subsidiary Rheochem Ltd. has signed a Master Agreement with Latent Petroleum Pty Ltd. for the supply of drilling fluids and associated services for a period of twelve months to support drilling operations for the Warro gas field, located in the Perth Basin 200km north of Perth.
Latent are the Operator of the Warro Gas Project which is a joint venture with aluminium company Alcoa Australia and engineering group Transerve.
Commenting on the agreement, Haydn Gardner, CEO, of Rheochem, said, "This is an exciting project and we are very pleased to have been chosen by Latent to help support their appraisal operations to determine the commercial viability of a tight gas field in Western Australia.
"This agreement confirms our reputation within the Australian oil services market and we look forward to bringing you further good news as and when appropriate."
