Petrobras Energia 'Stepping Up Its Pace' in Argentina

This Tuesday (09/16), Décio Oddone, the president of Petrobras Energia S.A., the company's subsidiary in Argentina, in a speech made during the "Business Opportunities in the International Market" panel, in the Rio Oil & Gas, being held at the Riocentro, stated that the company will make improvements to the oil extraction operations in that country.

"The improved quality of the units’ services shows Petrobras Energia S.A. is stepping-up its pace," he said. Oddone also said Petrobras is assessing the investments to be made in Argentina in 2009. Petrobras Energia S.A. has 18 production areas and 13 exploratory blocks in Argentina.
