Deep Driller 7 Sets Sail for 3-Month Operations Offshore Thailand

DDI Holding AS reported that a contract has been signed for the deployment of the new build jackup rig Deep Driller 7 offshore Thailand, for a firm period of 3 months, extendable up to 6 months. The estimated revenue from the contract is US $18 million for the firm period.

The rig, a Baker Marine Pacific Class 375, is currently undergoing acceptance testing at the PPL Shipyard in Singapore and is expected to commence operations in NuCoastal's Songkhla field in the Gulf of Thailand by late September 2008.
