Global subsea engineering company MCS has announced the appointment of Kevin O’Malley as their new Head of Group Marketing.

O’Malley will be responsible for developing and implementing a group-wide marketing strategy in support of the company’s strategic objectives and growth ambitions. Working closely with the business units, group service leaders and sales and business development personnel at MCS’ worldwide network of offices, O’Malley will ensure that external communications consistently profile MCS’ extensive engineering and software capabilities.
Commenting on his appointment, O’Malley said: “I am delighted to have joined what is recognised as one of the leading subsea engineering companies in the fast-paced oil and gas industry. The MCS name is synonymous with quality and performance and my role to bring added value to the brand will ensure that our customers and the wider subsea sector know that it is the combination of our unrivalled technical and analytical skills with practical knowledge and experience that sets us apart from our competitors.”
With more than 15 years experience in marketing, technical support and product development across a number of different market sectors, O’Malley has a strong business and technical track record having previously held senior positions with CMS Peripherals, Wellman International and PPG Industries among others.

"I am very pleased to welcome Kevin to MCS. We look forward to utilizing his extensive expertise as we shape our corporate communications' programme.
