Angola's 200,000 B/D Plutonio Oil Fields Still Off-Line
LONDON (Dow Jones Newswires), September 1, 2008
BP's Plutonio oil field offshore Angola remains off-line after shutting down due to technical problems in mid-August and there is no date for restart, a spokesman for BP said Monday.
The Plutonio development comprises five oil fields - Plutonio, Galio, Paladio, Cromio and Cobalto - from water depths of around 1300 meters. Plateau production at the field is over 200,000 barrels of oil a day, data on BP's Web site shows.
