BOS Expands Global Operations, Opens Office in Singapore

Bergen Oilfield Services (BOS) officially opened its Asia Pacific regional office in Singapore yesterday.

Approximately 15 guests attended a ceremony at the BOS office in the Premier Centre where the CEO, Karstein Rod and the Vice President APS, Omar Kulbrandstad unveiled the name plaque and declared the office officially open.

Omar Kulbrandstad, VP APS said that the office opening reflected BOS’s commitment to the Asia/Pacific market.

“The size of our office here shows that we have aggressive plans for the region,” he said.

“We have assembled a strong team, which will expand with additional resources in all areas including geophysical support. By the end of the year we expect to have one vessel fully operational in the region with more to follow.”

BOS continues to expand its global reach with the BOS offices in Norway, Singapore and the newly established UK office.
