Gas Production Increases in Marun of Khuzestan Province

The first phase of expansion project of Khami reservoir in Marun oil field in Iran's Khuzestan Province was inaugurated July 29.

The managing director of Marun oil and gas exploitation pointed out that during this phase four wells have been drilled and he said: With the exploitation of this phase the production capacity of this company has increased by ten million cubic foot of gas and 1,400 barrels of gas condensates per day.

Javadi said that the time allocated for the expansion project of this reservoir was two years and a half. He added that with the exploitation of this project gas production in this company has increased to 128m cubit foot and gas condensates to 17,500 barrels per day.
