Cameron Nabs DynaTorque's Oilfield Products, Services
Cameron has acquired the DynaTorque line of products and services from Hines Corporation. The business will be now be offered through Cameron's Flow Control division, part of the company’s Drilling & Production Systems group.
DynaTorque designs, manufactures, markets and sells manual gear operators, overrides, components, accessories and specialty products, including mechanical partial stroke test devices, for use with valves, actuators and dampers. The company has a manufacturing plant in Muskegon, Michigan.
"The acquisition of DynaTorque is an excellent complement to the products and services offered by the Flow Control division," said Britt Schmidt, Flow Control president. "We are excited about the opportunities that the addition of DynaTorque provides to Cameron."
Cameron's Flow Control division markets surface and subsea chokes, quarter-turn and linear actuators and
safety systems under the CAMERON, WILLIS and LEDEEN brand names.
