Nortechs FPSO PTE LTD has entered into a contract for the purchase of a tanker M.T. Songa Anette for conversion into a generic FPSO.
Following the success of FPSO East Fortune in landing a contract based with Peak Petroleum for oil production at the Bilabri field on her availability for deployment within short notice, the Company has proceeded with entering into a contract for the purchase of another tanker, M.T. Songa Anette.
As in the case of the FPSO East Fortune, this 1989 built panamax will be converted into an FPSO in accordance to DNV standards and classed for operations for at least 15 years without drydocking. FPSO Songa Anette is designed to have storage capacity of 460,000 barrels, a production capacity of 30,000 bopd, a water production capacity of 25,000 bopd and other liquid production of 30,000 bopd when completed.
The generic FPSO will feature topsides built with a flexible capacity that allow for expansion and inclusion of water injection module, gas lift module and or gas compression module which can be installed with a minimum disruption to operations and uptime.
