Petrobras Postpones Bids for P-51 & P-52
Petrobras has called off the bids for the P-51 and P-52 platform construction and integration of the hull and process and utilities plan for two weeks, extending the deadline to submit proposals from April 28 to May 12.
This was due to competitor's request to allow them to readapt their business proposals according to the new financing regulations announced by BNDES late last week.
On April 24 Petrobras received proposals from Dresser-Rand Company, Man Turbomachinen AG GHH Borsig, GE-Nuovo Pignone SPA-Firenze and Siemens AG Power Generation Industrial Applications, related to the execution of gas compression modules of the P-51 and P-52 platforms. On April 7, the company received three proposals for the platform's electric power generation modules. The companies that submitted their proposals were: Dresser-Rand Company, GE-Nuovo Pignone SPA-Firenze and Rolls Royce Energy Systems Inc.
