NATCO Builds R&D Center in Houston
NATCO Group Inc. held a ground-breaking ceremony to announce the construction of a new world-class Research and Development Center to be built at 4901 North Sam Houston Parkway, Houston, Texas. The facility is being relocated from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is designed to meet the needs of customers and to enhance process solution services. The planned 30,000-square-foot facility essentially triples the size of NATCO's current R & D operations allowing additional space for large-scale pilot plants, technology developments, computer and scale modeling, and laboratory services. The new center also will include space to showcase technologies using working demonstration models and computer animations, as well as state-of-the-art training and presentation facilities.
John U. Clarke, NATCO's Chairman and CEO, said, "The constant changes in the oil and gas industry demand advanced technology solutions. NATCO provides a wide range of laboratory services to the oil and gas industry to support customer needs and technology development. The breadth of R & D services offered has established NATCO as a technology leader in key oil, gas, and water, upstream and downstream separation and treating processes. To bring our research and development efforts right into the heart of our customer base presents a tremendous opportunity to continue to grow the business. This is an investment in our future."
The new NATCO R & D Center will be located across the Sam Houston Parkway from the corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas.
