BP Norge Names Garlick as New Managing Director
Trevor Garlick has been appointed new Managing Director for BP in Norway. He will be replacing Gro Kielland, starting August 1, 2008. Gro Kielland has elected to leave the company after 19 years of service. Garlick will also be taking over the General Manager Projects accountabilities from Terry Hughes, who is retiring from BP.
Garlick has been located in Norway since 2007 as General Manager, Operations, managing Valhall and Ula. He has over 20 years experience in BP and has held a range of subsurface, engineering and management roles in Exploration and Production. Garlick graduated as a Petroleum Engineer from the Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh.
Stepping down as Managing Director, Gro Kielland will take over as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board for BP Norge. Gro will replace Ola Wattne.
