Antrim Cinches 'Bought Deal' Financing, Sells to Syndicate
Antrim Energy Inc. has announced the closing of its previously announced "bought deal" financing. Antrim has sold to a syndicate of underwriters 16,130,000 common shares at a price of C$3.10 per common share for gross proceeds of C$50,003,000. The syndicate was co-led by RBC Capital Markets, as sole bookrunner, and Wellington West Capital Markets Inc. and also includes Cormark Securities Inc. and Research Capital Corporation, collectively.
Antrim has made an application to the London Stock Exchange for 16,130,000 new shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected to take place on Wednesday July 16, 2008. After giving effect to the financing, Antrim has 133,955,064 common shares issued and outstanding.
