AMEC Names McHoul as New CFO
AMEC plc announced the appointment of Ian McHoul as Chief Financial Officer. Previously Group Finance Director of Scottish and Newcastle plc, he will join AMEC on September 8, 2008.
In Ian McHoul's seven years as Group Finance Director with S & N, he was integral to the rebuilding of trust in delivery against performance targets. A chartered accountant who trained with KPMG, much of his earlier experience was in finance and strategy roles with Foster's Brewing Group Limited, both in Australia and with Courage Limited in the UK.
Samir Brikho, AMEC Chief Executive said, "I am confident that Ian's dynamism, strong financial discipline and commercial knowledge will be of great value as AMEC continues to deliver on its strategy, becoming a high-value supplier of consultancy, engineering and project management services to the world's energy, power and process industries."
Ian McHoul added, "I am delighted to be joining such an exciting and fast-developing company and look forward to contributing to AMEC's continued growth."
