Baker Energy has opened an office in the Port of Spain and begun offering its total line of comprehensive operations and maintenance services to the Trinidad and Tobago oil and gas market place.

"The opening of this office enables us to more readily and efficiently meet customers' operations, maintenance and training needs in Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the entire Caribbean Sea area," said Dick Giffhorn, president of Baker Energy. "The Central America region is a core focus area for many international and local energy companies, especially in the natural gas sector."

Patrick Malcolm will head the new office and take on the combined roles of business development and project management. A native of Trinidad, he holds degrees in Information Systems and Management Studies from the University of London, and Data Communications at the University of the West Indies.
