NMS Receives European Patent for NEPSYS Technology
Leading engineering services company, Neptune Marine Services announces it has secured a European patent for its unique NEPSYS underwater dry welding technology.
Complementing the Australian and North American patents already in place, the European patent is expected to further contribute to the international application of the NEPSYS technology.
Neptune's Managing Director and CEO Christian Lange said the new patent confirmed the internationally recognized ability of the technology to provide asset operators with a cost-effective, permanent, in-situ repair solution that offered numerous benefits over conventional alternatives.
"The timing of the patent also complements our recent expansion into Europe through Neptune Ross Deeptech and our identification of the North Sea as a prospective market for the application of the technology," he added.
As part of the process, Neptune will now seek specific patents for individual countries across Europe.
