Paradigm Awarded Huge Pre-Stack Depth Migration Project
Paradigm has been awarded the largest pre-stack depth migration project ever to be undertaken in onshore Germany. The project is for a consortium of seven partner companies in Germany.
The Paradigm Services Group was awarded the contract following the successful completion of a previous project for several members of the consortium, involving velocity-depth model building and pre-stack depth imaging of sub-salt structures in Northern Germany.
The current project involves velocity-depth model building and pre-stack depth migration in an area of approximately 1500 km2, incorporating close to a dozen solid salt structures. In addition, Paradigm will incorporate gravity information into the model-building process, through partnership with TERRASYS(r) of Hamburg, Germany.
Jo McArdle, Director of Integrated Geoscience Services, Paradigm Europe, Africa and Middle East, commented: "This is the largest pre-stack depth migration project ever undertaken in onshore Germany. It is a landmark for the German sector, and we are proud and excited to be part of it. The consortium leaders have firsthand knowledge of our service team's successful track record, based on the high quality, on-time nature of its results."
