Norson Seals Another Distribution Agreement with Parker
Aberdeen-based Norson Power has secured yet another deal with Parker Hannifin. This time for the distribution of Parker's Fluid controls division products in the North East of Scotland.
The latest alliance with Parker marks Norson's third agreement with the world's leading manufacturer of motion and control technologies.
"Parker's Lucifer solenoid valves can be used for a range of applications in offshore hazardous areas. We have been working closely with Parker to understand how we can complement Norson's existing distribution channels and are delighted to have secured this third distributorship , explained Andy Tully, distribution director for Norson.
"This latest announcement cements our reputation in the hydraulics and fluid control sector and means that we are certified distributors for Parker's fluid connectors, hydraulic components and now the fluid controls division."
Adding to this, Gordon Telfer, managing director of Norson said, "Having outlined a plan to increase Norson's hydraulic business by 50% in the next two years, this third distribution agreement with Parker goes a long way to ensuring we really can achieve our objectives within the proposed time frame."
