DOF Enters LOI with Petrobras for PSV Skandi Hav

DOF have entered into a Letter of Intent with the Brasilian company Petrobras for chartering of the PSV Skandi Hav. The duration of the firm contract is five years with commencement 3rd quarter 2009.

The vessel will be upgraded to a OTSV (Offshore Terminal Support Vessel) before charter commencement. The main tasks under the contract will be maintenance of the offloading hose lines to FSO's, FPSO's and Tankers.

"Skandi Hav will be the ninth vessel in the DOF fleet on long-term contract in Brazil. This contract award is a result of DOF`s unique position in the Brazilian market and the ability of DOF`s technical department to develop the best technical solutions," said CEO Mons Aase.

The contract value of the firm period is approx NOK 375 million.

Skandi Hav is a large PSV built in 1983.
