Subsea connector specialist, First Subsea Ltd has strengthened its sales team in a bid to increase its share of the North European subsea mooring and services market, with the appointment of John Cruickshank as Sales Manager, Northern Europe, based in Aberdeen. With over 20 years experience of offshore and subsea operations, Mr Cruickshank will be responsible for developing the market for First Subsea's Ballgrab range of mooring systems and services business.
First Subsea is the UK's leading supplier of subsea connection systems for deepwater platforms, FPSOs, subsea field buoy, pipeline and turret architectures and marine energy. Formerly sales and marketing manager at Aker Kvaerner Subsea, John Cruickshank brings experience of subsea controls, subsea trees, subsea boosting, subsea umbilicals, flow measurement, subsea tie-in and connection systems, subsea manifolds, EPC and EPIC projects.
"We're seeing a broadening of the role of Ballgrab subsea connectors as operators are recognising the flexibility they offer in offshore operations and architecture.
