Ward Williston CEO Elected Treasurer of NAIP

Thomas W. Cunnington, CEO of Ward Williston Oil Company, was elected Treasurer of the Northern Alliance of Independent Producers. NAIP is a non-profit trade organization representing over 50 independent oil producers in Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. Its members will spend over $1 billion this year in exploring and producing oil.

Mr. Cunnington has over thirty years experience in the oil industry. In the early 80s he set up partnerships to drill wells in Indiana and Illinois as well as Michigan. This successful endeavor led to the purchase of Ward Williston, an independent oil and service company.

As the CEO of Ward Williston, Mr. Cunnington has successfully brought the company from a relatively small E&P company to a position of leadership in the North Dakota and Michigan oil industry. Ward Williston Oil Company is a top oil producer in North Dakota and also an oil producer in Michigan. Ward Williston is also one of the leading oil service companies in North Dakota due to Mr. Cunnington's leadership.
