Energas Resources, Inc. reported that construction of the Finley #2 well location began Feb. 28. The engineer reports that the current pump jack on the Finley #2 will be removed and the drilling reserve pit should be finished by early next week. As soon as the pump jack unit is moved off the well, the drilling contractor will begin moving their rig and equipment in to start the deepening project. The company plans to deepen this well from approximately 4,200 feet to 6,200 feet to test the Morrison and Leo zones for oil. Further announcements will be forthcoming.
