Ecuador's average oil output last year fell 4.6% to 511,088 barrels a day from 536,033 barrels a day in 2006, the Central Bank said Wednesday.
The country's total 2007 oil production was 186.54 million barrels, down from the previous year's 195.65 million barrels.
State oil output averaged 258,450 barrels a day in all 2007, while private companies' oil output was 252,638 barrels day.
For 2008, Ecuador expects oil output to be 190.12 million barrels, according to official data.
