Trican Opens Petroleum Engineering Laboratories at the U of Calgary
Trican Well Service reported the opening of the Trican Petroleum Engineering Laboratories at the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary. This newly renovated laboratory will provide students with the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment that will allow them to experience and reinforce the concepts taught in lectures and tutorials. The laboratory is a joint project completed with the Schulich School of Engineering who, with Trican, has a shared vision of the University providing the petroleum industry with innovative, high quality engineers with industry-ready training.
Trican is excited about the new laboratory and looks forward to students enjoying the benefits of our donation for many years to come.
The official opening of the laboratory will be on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at the University of Calgary.
