Odyssey: Pelahatchie Drilling 'Ahead of Schedule'

Odyssey Petroleum Corp. reported that the drilling of the Max and Martha Gill well #1 in Pelahatchie Field, Rankin County, Mississippi is presently ahead of schedule. As of this morning, the drill rig has reached a depth of 10,214 feet, and is coming out of the hole to make a final bit change prior to continuing to drill to the targeted depth of 11,500 feet. When total depth is reached, Odyssey's production personnel will assume operations for the logging, evaluation, and completion of the well. Placing production casing in the drilled hole and installation of other production facilities is expected to be complete within ten days of the drilling of the well.
