Eni Exec Resigns
Eni announced that Senator Dario Fruscio resigned Jan. 30, 2008, from the company's board of directors. He has served as Eni's independent director since 2002.
A chartered accountant, public auditor and consultant, Fruscio is a professor of Economics and Management at the University of Pavia at the Accademia Nazionale della Guardia di Finanza of Bergamo. He also serves as chairman of Italia Turismo S.p.A.
According to the company's website, Eni's current board of directors was appointed in May 2005 for a three-year term.
