Energi Mega: Production Up at Semberah TAC
Indonesian oil and gas company, PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk reported that one of its major assets, Semberah TAC, has increased its total oil production to more than 1,450 barrels of oil per day. Three of its development wells showed positive results.
In December 2007, Semberah TAC produced 575 barrels of oil per day from its development wells (SBR-16 and SBR-18). On Jan. 14, 2008, a production test revealed that Semberah's other development well, SBR-17, has initial capacity to flow 750 barrels of oil per day. With this additional production volume, Semberah TAC has increased its total oil production to more than 1,450 barrels per day.
In addition to oil, the field produces gas at the rate of 11 million cubic feet per day.
Energi Mega holds 100% stake in Semberah TAC through its subsidiaries.
