Production Resumes from Statfjord C

Statoil has resumed production from its Statfjord C field in the North Sea after unscheduled repairs to a damaged pipeline. The shut-in, which cut back production to 40,000-45,000 barrels per day, occurred following the discovery of corrosion in one of the field's pipeline separators during a regular inspection earlier this week. Normal daily output is 175,000 barrels a day.
