NZOG Appoints Knight New Director
Listed energy company New Zealand Oil & Gas Ltd (NZOG) appointed Andrew Knight as an additional non-executive director of the company.
"Andrew has strong commercial and professional credentials, with experience in the management of diversified energy businesses and corporate merger and acquisition processes," Chairman Tony Radford said.
Andrew Knight, 37, is a Chartered Accountant and graduate of Waikato University with a Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons). He is General Manager Metering Business for network infrastructure company, Vector. Previously Andrew has held executive management roles with NGC and worked in New Zealand and Australia with The Australian Gas Light Company, Fletcher Challenge Energy and Coopers & Lybrand.
Knight's appointment will take effect from Jan. 1, 2008, bringing the number of NZOG directors to seven.
