Hummingbird Heads for Chestnut Field in UK North Sea
The Sevan Hummingbird FPSO left the Keppel Verolme Shipyard in Rotterdam Dec. 15. The Sevan Hummingbird FPSO is now being towed to the Chestnut field in the UK North Sea and installed, with production start-up after installation.
When the Sevan Hummingbird starts production on the Chestnut field in the Central North Sea later this year, it will be the first oil produced by Atlantic Petroleum, which holds 15% in the Chestnut field. The FPSO has been rented under a 2.5 + 2 year contract.
