Enovation Spuds Well in GOM

Enovation Resources mobilized the jack-up rig Ocean Crusader for the imminent spud of well OCS-G-0900 #7 in West Cameron lease 225, offshore Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico.

The well, operated by Houston-based Breton Energy LLC, will target a gas accumulation in shallow water some 40 miles off the Louisiana coast.

"This is the start of our multi-well program with Breton in the area and forms an important stepping stone for Enovation's worldwide operations as we progress towards our objective of achieving near-term production," Richard Morgan, exploration director of Enovation, said.
